The series finale of On My Block, a critically praised teen drama, premiered today, and it definitely goes out with a bang.
At the start of season four, the show’s primary cast of characters, including Monse (Sierra Capri), Ruby (Jason Genao), Cesar (Diego Tunoco), and Jamal (Brett Gray), all get back together.
Since Cuchillo’s death at the end of Season 3 and the subsequent dispersal of the gang, this is their first time reuniting as a whole.
In the final season, the gang gets back together to lie to the police about Cuchillo’s death.
Update To Note
Oscar “Spooky” Diaz, played by Julio Macias, is a new addition to On My Block and has been touted as a figure to watch. The relationships among the characters have undergone a dramatic change over Season 3.
When it comes to putting its characters to rest, this programme has a lengthy history of doing so. Ruby’s first-season cousin Olivia and Monse’s third-season mother both passed away at young ages.
In the middle of Season 3, Monse’s mother passed away. As a result, Spooky’s future prospects did not look great when he was first shown them. What happens to Spooky in Season 3?
In the Seventh Episode of “on My Block,” Spooky is Taken Away.
The Santos faced out against a new rival gang called 19th Street in Season 3. Even if the Prophets were no longer to blame, the Santos were still experiencing difficulties.
Spooky used to do anything Cuchillos wanted, but when he found out that she had betrayed his father years ago, he stopped being so devoted to her. Spooky decided to stop working for Cuchillos after he betrayed his father.
Instead, Spooky decides it’s time to deal with 19th Street. He kills Cuchillos before heading to the other group, and when he goes to give a peace offering, the other gang abducts him.
Spooky kills the woman who agreed to a deal with the gang while they were prisoner, shocking and upsetting the rest of the captives. Although he eventually convinces them that Cuchillos had no intention of fulfilling her commitment, this does not help him escape his current dilemma with 19th Street.
The antagonist group captures him at the end of Episode 7 and threatens him with a firearm.
A question posed by his interrogator probes his motivations: “Want to be a shooter or a shot-caller?”
Both of you, b—-h,” he says as he pulls his own revolver. Both of you are a b—-h.
Does Spooky Die While Under 19th Street’s Care?
Fortunately, this isn’t the end of Spooky’s story.
After being shot, Spooky is seen in the hospital getting bandaged up for what appear to be severe but non-lethal wounds. Spooky didn’t seem to have a hope of surviving, yet he did.
You’d be astonished how much of the corpse can be stitched back together, Ruby’s Abuelita tells him. “I bet you’d be shocked,”
Thank goodness we won’t be saying goodbye to the tough yet fatherly Spooky any time soon; his story is only getting started.
Where Is Spooky Now?
The joyful flash forward occurs at the end of Season 3, Episode 8. Spooky treated Cesar, Monse, Ruby, Jamal, and Jasmine like they were his own, proving he has the capacity to be a better dad than both his father and grandfather were to him.
The future shows that Monse has been accepted to a top private school, that Jasmine and Ruby are still together, and that Jamal has become a talented athlete.
They aren’t the only ones who seem to have gotten away from the gang lifestyle, either. Previously, Spooky had told Cesar, “I have no need for this crap. Please give me adult issues. In the future, I hope to settle down with a spouse and have a family in a house of my own.
Yes, he ends up there. Spooky’s future self is seen in his own backyard, grilling with his pregnant girlfriend by his side.
It’s unfortunate that Cesar never got out of the gang life because he could have gone far. His current position as Santos’ commander suggests that his family’s history with the gang has not yet come to an end. Let’s hope this is taken care of before the fourth season premieres.

Conclusion
Following the conclusion of the series’ fourth and final season, viewers will witness the four main protagonists go their own ways after graduating from high school.
Events like Monse taking a year off to write, Jamal working for a tech billionaire, Cesar relocating to Portland, Abuelita’s death, and Ruby enrolling at Stanford serve to highlight the children’s growth as individuals. They’re parting ways but will always be pals.
Without a doubt, On My Block will be missed, but that is not the end. The spinoff will be based on the fictional show Freeridge, and the streaming service has already announced its existence. As of right now, you can watch the entire fourth season of On My Block on Netflix.
